Expand allVisit the Market Crafts Centre to explore local handmade souvenirs, then stop by the Gem Museum to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous gems and shop for sapphires, pearls, and more.
Continue to Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, known for its lush greenery, giant bamboo, and exotic plant collections.
Later, visit the iconic Temple of the Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa), a sacred UNESCO site. Dress modestly and remove shoes before entering.
In the evening, you can opt to watch a cultural performance at Kandy Lake Club featuring traditional dance, music, and fire-walking. (Additional cost on own)
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kandy.
